This Research-Use Policy governs the purchase, possession, handling, storage, transfer, and use of products offered by Helix Aminos. Helix Aminos is operated by TGR Leafy LLC (“Helix Aminos,” “TGR Leafy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy supplements our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, product information, checkout disclosures, and any separate research-use acknowledgment, certification, or waiver.
Helix Aminos products are offered exclusively for lawful laboratory, analytical, educational, or research purposes. They are not intended for human or veterinary use.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all products identified as peptides, peptide blends, reference materials, analytical materials, laboratory research materials, or similar research products purchased from Helix Aminos. It applies to retail purchasers, wholesale applicants and customers, account holders, authorized representatives, recipients, and anyone who obtains possession or control of a product through a purchaser.
2. Purchaser Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old, located in the United States, legally capable of entering into a binding agreement, and purchasing exclusively for a lawful research or analytical purpose.
By accessing product information or placing an order, you represent that you possess—or are acting under the direction of a person who possesses—the knowledge, training, facilities, equipment, procedures, safeguards, and legal authority reasonably necessary to receive, evaluate, store, handle, use, and dispose of the products safely and lawfully.
We may request additional information concerning age, identity, business status, purchasing authority, credentials, intended use, facility, or compliance. Wholesale applicants may be required to provide business, resale, tax, licensing, or research documentation. Providing requested information does not guarantee approval.
3. Permitted Uses
Subject to applicable law, product-specific limitations, institutional requirements, and appropriate safeguards, permitted uses are limited to legitimate non-clinical activities such as:
- laboratory analysis and analytical-method development;
- chemical identification, characterization, comparison, or reference work;
- in vitro, bench, or instrument-based research that does not involve administration to humans or animals;
- educational laboratory work conducted in an appropriately controlled setting; and
- other lawful research expressly consistent with product labeling and this policy.
The purchaser is solely responsible for determining whether a proposed activity is lawful, properly authorized, scientifically appropriate, and within the purchaser’s competence and facilities.
4. Strictly Prohibited Uses
You may not directly or indirectly:
- ingest, inject, inhale, implant, apply, administer, compound for administration, or otherwise introduce a product into a human or animal;
- use a product for self-experimentation, personal use, bodybuilding, weight management, performance enhancement, cosmetic procedures, wellness, or any other non-research purpose;
- use a product to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, prevent, or investigate treatment of a disease or medical or veterinary condition outside activities lawfully authorized under applicable regulatory and institutional requirements;
- use a product in clinical care, veterinary care, a medical practice, a pharmacy, a compounding operation, or a direct-to-patient or direct-to-consumer program;
- represent a product as a drug, prescription drug, over-the-counter drug, dietary supplement, food, cosmetic, medical device, veterinary product, or product approved for human or animal use;
- make or publish medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, disease, safety, efficacy, performance, weight-loss, or regulatory claims about a product;
- purchase for or supply a person you know or reasonably suspect intends a prohibited use;
- circumvent age, identity, destination, quantity, account, payment, or compliance restrictions;
- export, forward, transship, divert, or arrange delivery of a product outside the United States;
- use a product in violation of federal, state, or local law, institutional policy, permit, protocol, or safety requirement; or
- use website content or a Certificate of Analysis as authorization for human or veterinary use.
5. No Resale, Redistribution, or Relabeling
Products may not be resold, redistributed, brokered, transferred, donated, exported, relabeled, repackaged, divided for resale, adulterated, modified, or supplied to another person or entity without our prior written authorization.
You may not remove, obscure, replace, or alter product names, lot or batch numbers, warnings, research-use statements, labels, packaging, tracking information, or documentation. You may not represent yourself as an authorized Helix Aminos distributor, reseller, affiliate, representative, or agent without a separate written agreement signed by TGR Leafy LLC.
Wholesale approval does not, by itself, authorize unrestricted resale or relieve a wholesale customer of research-use, labeling, customer-verification, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. Additional written distribution terms may apply.
6. Research-Use Acknowledgment and Waiver
Before completing a purchase, you may be required to affirmatively accept a research-use acknowledgment and execute a separate research-use certification or waiver. Your acceptance may be recorded with your name, account, order number, electronic signature, date and time, IP address, and the version of the terms accepted.
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information. A false, misleading, incomplete, or unauthorized acknowledgment is a material violation of this policy and does not authorize the purchase or use of any product.
The checkout acknowledgment and separate waiver supplement this policy. If provisions conflict, the stricter lawful research-use restriction will control. No acknowledgment or waiver authorizes conduct prohibited by law.
7. Independent Review and Legal Compliance
You are responsible for independently determining a product’s legal status and the requirements applicable to your possession, facility, personnel, protocol, intended experiment, storage, transport, recordkeeping, and disposal. Laws and regulatory interpretations may vary by product, activity, location, and purchaser.
Nothing supplied by Helix Aminos constitutes medical, veterinary, legal, regulatory, biosafety, chemical-safety, or professional advice. You should consult qualified legal, regulatory, scientific, and safety professionals before purchasing or using any research material.
8. Product Information and Scientific Content
Scientific terminology, literature summaries, pathway discussions, product descriptions, references, and educational content are provided for general identification and informational purposes. They do not constitute instructions for use, dosage guidance, medical advice, a therapeutic recommendation, or evidence that a product is safe, effective, approved, or appropriate for a particular purpose.
The existence of published research involving a compound does not mean that our product is approved for or suitable for the same method, model, application, or result. Purchasers must not infer human or veterinary suitability from scientific literature or website content.
9. Certificates of Analysis and Batch Documentation
A Certificate of Analysis (“COA”) or other analytical record applies only to the product and lot or batch identified on that document. Before beginning research, you are responsible for confirming that the product label, lot or batch number, and associated documentation correspond.
A COA is not a medical certification, safety guarantee, warranty of experimental results, or authorization for human or veterinary use. Unless expressly stated in writing, products are not represented as sterile, pyrogen-free, endotoxin-tested, pharmaceutical grade, suitable for compounding, or suitable for administration.
You are responsible for performing or arranging any independent identity, purity, concentration, sterility, endotoxin, contaminant, stability, or suitability testing required for your lawful research.
10. Storage, Handling, Access Control, and Disposal
Purchasers are solely responsible for establishing and following appropriate procedures for receipt, quarantine, inspection, inventory control, storage, labeling, handling, use, spill response, security, transportation, and disposal.
Products must be secured against unauthorized access and kept away from children, animals, food, beverages, medications, clinical supplies, and individuals who may misunderstand or misuse them. General storage information supplied by us does not replace product-specific assessment, institutional procedures, safety documentation, or qualified professional judgment.
You must dispose of products and related materials according to applicable law and appropriate laboratory waste procedures. Products may not be discarded, transferred, or repurposed in a manner that creates a risk of unauthorized human, animal, or environmental exposure.
11. Incident and Misuse Notification
Contact us promptly if you become aware of suspected theft, diversion, unauthorized resale, relabeling, prohibited use, material product-identity concern, or other incident involving a Helix Aminos product that may create a safety, legal, fraud, or regulatory risk.
Do not include unnecessary medical or health information in your communication. If an emergency or exposure has occurred, contact appropriate emergency services, poison-control resources, or qualified professionals rather than relying on Helix Aminos for emergency guidance.
12. Monitoring, Verification, and Enforcement
We may review orders, accounts, communications, payment activity, shipping information, acknowledgments, and other relevant records for fraud prevention and compliance. We may request clarification or documentation and may delay, limit, reject, or cancel an order at any time before fulfillment.
Actual or suspected violation of this policy may result in:
- order cancellation or refusal;
- quantity or destination restrictions;
- suspension or termination of accounts and purchasing privileges;
- cancellation of wholesale or reseller authorization;
- preservation of relevant records;
- refusal of future transactions;
- legal action or recovery of losses where permitted; and
- disclosure to payment providers, carriers, professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other appropriate parties when permitted or required by law.
Our decision to fulfill a prior order, delay enforcement, or request additional information does not waive this policy or require us to accept a later order.
13. Purchaser Responsibility
After lawful delivery, the purchaser assumes responsibility for possession, control, access, storage, handling, research, transfer, and disposal. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the purchaser is responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, damages, and expenses arising from the purchaser’s prohibited, unlawful, negligent, or unauthorized conduct or breach of this policy.
No label, disclaimer, acknowledgment, or contractual provision excuses conduct that is unlawful or eliminates rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived.
14. Records
We may retain order, account, payment, shipping, IP address, waiver, acknowledgment, version, wholesale, compliance, fraud, and communication records for the operating life of the business and for any additional period reasonably necessary for legal, tax, accounting, safety, claims, transfer, or wind-down purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy and permitted by law.
15. Policy Updates
We may update this Research-Use Policy prospectively to reflect changes in our products, procedures, legal obligations, or risk controls. The revised policy will be posted with a new effective date. The version accepted when an order is submitted will generally govern that transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
